Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clinton Offley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Reles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ben Reles! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Offley goes for a double leg but Reles avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Reles continues to drive forward. Reles dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Offley wants a takedown.
Reles content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Offley gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Reles.
Offley jumps guard but Reles stands there with Offley around his waist. Offley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clinton Offley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reles lands a left hand that snaps the head of Offley backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Offley is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Reles pulls him back up using the underhooks. Offley tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Reles is trying to control the position but Offley postures up. Offley advances position into side control! Offley tries for a kimura but Reles is defending well. Offley working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Reles tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Offley wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reles keeps trying to improve his position. Offley thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. That's three minutes gone in the round. Offley wants to control but Reles is keeping him busy. Reles is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reles prevents Offley from moving into mount. Reles is looking for a sweep. Offley thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The ground and pound from Offley seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Offley is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Reles looks calm but he's in trouble here. Offley gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Reles is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Offley lets go of the hold and Reles can pop his arm back in it's socket.
