Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Niga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Anthony Paul was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niga shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Niga was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Paul gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Paul is controlling Niga's trapped leg to prevent Niga from advancing to side control.
Paul makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Paul.
Niga is breathing heavily.
Paul is adopting a defensive guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Niga's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Paul is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Niga frees his head nicely. Oh but Paul has switched to an armbar! Niga is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
