Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcio Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Qfc Champ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcio Nunes looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nunes shoots in for a double leg but Champ sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nunes shoots in and drives through. Champ sprawls well.
Nunes takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Champ stuffs the takedown attempt from Nunes. Nunes gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcio Nunes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nunes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Champ is fending him off so far but Nunes persists. Nope, Champ circles away and we're back to standing.
Nunes dives in for a single leg takedown but Champ sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Nunes has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Champ avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Nunes is breathing heavily.

Champ breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nunes has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nunes there as he acknowledges the shot.
Champ tries to sprawl but Nunes drives through with a takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Champ can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nunes trying to control the position but Champ is working away.
Nunes tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Champ is trying to improve his position.
Nunes tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nunes has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Nunes thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Champ wants to control but Nunes postures up.
Nunes misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Champ tries to improve position but can't.
Champ is pushing Nunes's head away, looking to escape. Nunes manages to hold on to the position though.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Champ misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nunes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Champ swivels and escapes.
Champ connects with a body shot that sends Nunes's belly button to the back.
Champ throws a right hand that Nunes ducks under and follows up with a left that Nunes also avoids with ease.

Nunes moves out of range of the body kick from Champ.
Qfc Champ seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Champ connects with a jab.
Nunes has a takedown stuffed.
Champ misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Champ connects with a right hand. Nunes shakes it off.
Nice shot lands for Champ.
Nunes is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nunes is aggressively charging in as Champ backs up avoiding any damage. Champ tosses out a jab and Nunes runs right into it face first! Nunes is out cold! Champ dropped down on all fours and is barking in Nunes's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Qfc Champ!
