Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stachelek tries to move into range but Ruiz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ruiz moves in looking to clinch but Stachelek pushes him off.
Nice sprawl there from Ruiz as Stachelek shoots in.
Ruiz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stachelek gets the takedown into side control.
Stachelek tries for a kimura but Ruiz is defending well.
Ruiz sneaks out the side door and pushes Stachelek away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stachelek throws a right hand that Ruiz ducks under and follows up with a left that Ruiz also avoids with ease.

Ruiz told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Stachelek is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Ruiz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stachelek. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ruiz would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Ruiz wants to control from the top but Stachelek keeps moving.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Stachelek manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ruiz manages to get himself to full guard.
Ruiz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ruiz pulls Stachelek in close to prevent any damage.

Stachelek passes Ruiz's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Stachelek looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Stachelek looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wojtek Stachelek dominated that round.
That's time! Stachelek's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Stachelek is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ruiz.
Ruiz connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ruiz drops Stachelek with a beautiful combination! Stachelek stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ruiz is looking for the KO!
It looks like Wojtek Stachelek has been cut.
Ruiz goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Oscar Ruiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stachelek looks to score with a jab to the body but Ruiz is just out of range.
Ruiz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

The fight stays on the outside here - Stachelek looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ruiz moves in looking to clinch but Stachelek pushes him off.
Stachelek misses with a takedown attempt - Ruiz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ruiz tries to clinch up but Stachelek circles away and keeps his distance.

Ruiz wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Stachelek has him pressed against the cage.
Stachelek has a couple of punches blocked by Ruiz.
Stachelek tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ruiz smiles and moves away.
Wojtek Stachelek is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ruiz drops Stachelek with a beautiful combination! Stachelek stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ruiz is looking for the KO!
Ruiz drops Stachelek with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Stachelek looks back up at him and smiles so Ruiz waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Stachelek is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ruiz fails to land with a series of punches.
Ruiz is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Ruiz shuts the power down on Stachelek. Lights out, game over! Ruiz is your winner.
