Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayden throws a head kick but Belmiro moves out of range.
Belmiro lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Ike Hayden has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Belmiro.
Belmiro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hayden tries to avoid it but Belmiro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hayden to the ground. Hayden escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Hayden counters with a shoot takedown. Belmiro fights it but they end up in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hayden cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Belmiro tries to lock up and control but Hayden gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Hayden lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Hayden is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Hayden gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Hayden gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Hayden apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Hayden gets control of Belmiro's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hayden will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
