Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derec Waller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronda Rousey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waller comes to the cage accompanied by You Never Can Tell. On his way into the cage it seems that Derec Waller has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Derec Waller seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derec Waller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronda Rousey! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rousey misses with the combination.
Rousey is looking to clinch but Waller is avoiding it.
Waller misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Rousey counters with a left and a right that stings Waller. Rousey is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Waller ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Waller seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Ronda Rousey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rousey dives in for a single leg takedown but Waller sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Waller lands an elbow just above Rousey 's eye.
It looks like Ronda Rousey has been cut. Waller using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Rousey swings wildly with an uppercut but Waller uses good head movement to avoid it. Rousey is looking to take this one to the mat. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Waller. Rousey tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Waller's elbow. Rousey tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Waller just stands there and leans against the cage. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rousey has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Derec Waller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronda Rousey. Rousey swings wildly with an uppercut but Waller uses good head movement to avoid it. Waller is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Waller connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rousey. Rousey circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Waller lands with a good body shot. Rousey shoots in and drives through. Waller sprawls well. Rousey fails with an attempt to clinch.

Rousey looks to land a combination but Waller avoids it well. Rousey tries to close the distance and clinch but Waller swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Some wild striking there from Waller.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice shot by Waller. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rousey tries to clinch up but Waller circles away and keeps his distance. Waller misses with a two punch combination.
Rousey has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. A looping hook to the body misses from Waller. Rousey does a little dance to reset his feet. Waller throws a nice looking combination but Rousey bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rousey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Waller circles away. Rousey shoots for a double leg takedown but Waller sprawls well. He's pushed Rousey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Waller misses with a body shot.

Waller moves out of range as Rousey strikes. Horrible takedown attempt by Rousey or perhaps it was just good defense by Waller, which made it look bad. Rousey shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Rousey looks winded! Rousey throws a lazy uppercut
and Waller counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That has opened up Ronda Rousey's cut even more. Waller dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Waller throws a series of punches but Rousey moves out of range. Waller scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Rousey rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Waller counters with a stiff right hand. Rousey fails to land the takedown. Rousey takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Waller lands with an uppercut that bounces Rousey off the cage and back into range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Waller scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rousey doesn't seem bothered though. Rousey misses with a combination
and Waller counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rousey thinking.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Waller lands with a right hand. Sloppy strikes from Waller. Those never looked like landing. Nice shot lands for Waller. Waller connects with a right hand. Rousey shakes it off. Waller throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rousey stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. No luck for Rousey with that takedown attempt. Waller lands a really nice looking cross but Rousey seems unphased.
Waller throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Waller cracks Rousey with a right hand to the side of the head. Rousey misses with a takedown attempt - Waller sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. A looping hook to the body misses from Waller. Rousey does a little dance to reset his feet. Waller fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rousey looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Waller stuns Rousey with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Derec Waller dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ronda Rousey's cut. That's time! Waller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Rousey will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rousey throws a hook but Waller blocks it. No luck for Rousey with that takedown attempt. Rousey is trying hard to land a takedown here. Waller sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Derec Waller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronda Rousey. Rousey fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Waller cracks Rousey with a right hand to the side of the head. Some wild striking there from Rousey.
Waller is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rousey can do to turn this around? A shot to the liver by Waller. Beautiful body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Waller stalks Rousey and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rousey's face. Rousey staggers backwards, shaken. Rousey is breathing heavily. Waller fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rousey tries to clinch there but Waller circles away.
Waller sizes up Rousey with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The cut above Ronda Rousey's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rousey's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Waller connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rousey scrambles back to his feet. Ronda Rousey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Waller jabs at Rousey's body. Rousey closes the distance and clinches up with Waller, looking for a takedown. Rousey pushes Waller against the cage but Waller circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Waller swings for the body but Rousey moves out of range.
Rousey looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Waller is fending him off so far but Rousey persists. Nope, Waller circles away and we're back to standing. Derec Waller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rousey shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Waller throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Waller lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Waller lands a body shot.
Waller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rousey manages to avoid it. Rousey is trying desperately to land a takedown but Waller is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Rousey. Rousey lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Waller misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rousey is looking to clinch but Waller is avoiding it.
Waller fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Waller slips a jab and a cross from Rousey.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rousey changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Waller tries to avoid it but Rousey manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Waller to the ground. Waller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Waller connects with a crisp jab.
Ronda Rousey's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Waller lands a nice looking body shot.
Waller connects with a body shot. The fight stays on the outside here - Rousey looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rousey fails in his attempt to clinch. Waller changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Waller throws a jab but it's blocked by Rousey. Waller paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Waller with a nice cross.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ronda Rousey's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Derec Waller! After the fight, Derec Waller was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
