And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ed Frettish!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frettish scores with a push kick.
Miller dives in and grabs Frettish's left leg, looking for a takedown. Frettish pushes down on Miller's head and hops out.
Frettish scores with a nice body kick.
Miller wants to slow Frettish down by chopping away at his legs.
Miller with a lazy takedown attempt
and Frettish counters with a head kick. That will keep Miller thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Miller moves out of range of the body kick.
Nice takedown defense from Frettish. No joy for Miller on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Miller blocks the body kick.
Miller shoots in for a takedown but Frettish shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Miller moves out of range as Frettish throws a body kick.
Frettish pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A bit of stalling here from Frettish.
Miller is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Frettish to keep the fight standing.
Miller takes an elbow to the forehead.
Miller fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Frettish lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Miller is trying to pull guard but Frettish turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Frettish.

Frettish comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Miller tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Frettish smiles and moves away.
Frettish tries to land a front kick but Miller steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Frettish tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Miller dives in and grabs Frettish's left leg, looking for a takedown. Frettish pushes down on Miller's head and hops out.
Frettish stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Frettish wants it to stay on the feet.
Frettish goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Miller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Frettish looks to score with a jab to the body but Miller is just out of range.
Frettish scores with a nice body kick.
Miller fails with the takedown.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Frettish fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miller, pushing him back against the cage.
Miller takes an elbow to the temple.
Frettish lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Miller tries to pull guard but Frettish holds him up against the cage and eventually Miller drops back down to his feet.
Frettish lands a nice elbow.
Frettish lands an elbow that stopped Miller in his tracks for a moment.
Frettish avoiding damage.
Miller takes an elbow to the temple.
Miller looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Frettish lands an elbow inside that Miller shrugs off.
Miller blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Frettish lands an elbow just above Miller 's eye.
Miller jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Frettish walks away with a smile on his face. Miller gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Miller fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Miller shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Miller shoots in but Frettish avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Frettish.
Miller checks the leg kick nicely there.
Ed Frettish is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Miller misses with a leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Miller is defended easily by Frettish.

Miller looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Frettish!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Frettish is trying to improve his position.

Miller is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Frettish looks calm but he's in trouble here. Miller gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Frettish is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Miller lets go of the hold and Frettish can pop his arm back in it's socket.
