Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Vincenzo Caiazzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Hug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caiazzo comes to the ring accompanied by TBDM- What a Horrible Night to Have a Curse. Andy Hug has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andy Hug!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caiazzo throws a looping overhand right but Hug ducks down to avoid it.
Hug walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Caiazzo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Caiazzo misses with a low kick.
Caiazzo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A lazy left from Caiazzo finds it's target.
Hug throws a head kick that misses.
Caiazzo tries a head kick but it misses.
That kick from Hug tenderised Caiazzo's leg. Caiazzo is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hug throws a hook but Caiazzo blocks it.
Caiazzo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Hug's coach down at Cozad Amsterdam was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hug's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Hug defending well as Caiazzo loads up on a big left hand.

Hug fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Caiazzo on the side of the head.

and Caiazzo counters with a straight right hand.
Hug throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hug misses with a looping left.
Caiazzo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hug finds it's way round the side to connect with Caiazzo's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Caiazzo lands a slapping body shot.
Hug cracks a nice hook into Caiazzo's ribs.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hug lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Caiazzo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Caiazzo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Caiazzo misses with an uppercut. Hug saw that one coming.
Hug jabs Caiazzo right on the nose. Caiazzo blinks but takes it well.

Hug with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Caiazzo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
No joy there for Caiazzo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hug throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Hug throws a right and a left that Caiazzo avoids nicely.

Caiazzo tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hug throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hug closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Caiazzo crashing to the mat! Caiazzo uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
Hug throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Caiazzo counters with a one-two to the body.
Hug feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Caiazzo's calf.
Hug moves out of range of the strikes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Caiazzo throws a body punch but Hug moves out of range.
Hug is looking to chop away at Caiazzo's legs.
Caiazzo throws an overhand right that lands on Hug's shoulder, as Hug tries to avoid the shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Having scored a knockdown, Andy Hug should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Andy Hug seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caiazzo lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Caiazzo walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Caiazzo is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

A very excited looking Andy Hug made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
