Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tracy Powell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buakaw Pramuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tracy Powell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buakaw Pramuk! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pramuk connects with a looping right hand.
Pramuk dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Pramuk moves into range and clinches up with Powell. Pramuk lands an elbow just above Powell 's eye.
It looks like Tracy Powell has been cut. Pramuk lands a nice elbow. Powell misses with a body punch.
Pramuk is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Pramuk missing with knees to the body.
Pramuk dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pramuk lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
That's one minute gone in the round. Pramuk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pramuk darts in and clinches Powell up against the cage. Pramuk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Pramuk misses with a head kick.
Pramuk lands a slapping body shot.
Powell throws a head kick but Pramuk moves out of range.
Pramuk stuffs the takedown. Pramuk throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Powell's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Pramuk dives in looking to finish as Powell flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Pramuk's strikes! Pramuk is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Powell's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Powell was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buakaw Pramuk!
