Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Kula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kula comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bullet - Bite the Bullet kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Tyler Brooks has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalle Kula!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kula closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kula looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Brooks wants to control but Kula postures up.
Brooks manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Kula wants to get back to full guard.
Brooks working over Kula with some ground and pound. Kula looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kula has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Kula is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Brooks defends it well.

Brooks is stalling here. Kula is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Brooks seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kula has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
