Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bebrai Puola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louis Sobiesky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bebrai Puola!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Louis Sobiesky!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puola blocks a jab.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sobiesky ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sobiesky no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Sobiesky lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.


Sobiesky drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sobiesky jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Sobiesky is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Puola is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Sobiesky throws a right hand that Puola ducks under and follows up with a left that Puola also avoids with ease.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Puola takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Puola is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sobiesky scores with a couple of nice shots.

Sobiesky has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Sobiesky uses his free foot to push down on Puola's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Puola.

Louis Sobiesky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Puola's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Sobiesky has hold of Puola's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Puola manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Sobiesky quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Sobiesky but it's paid off an Puola is forced to tap! Nice work by Sobiesky.
