Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Bolda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ting Yan Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bolda comes to the cage accompanied by Fett's Vette. Wang has chosen Minority - Green Day as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolda throws a jab but it's blocked by Wang.
Wang connects with a jab.
Wang throws a head kick that Bolda semi-blocks.
Wang misses with a double jab.
Bolda looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wang stuffs the takedown attempt from Bolda. Bolda gets slowly back to his feet.

and Bolda counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Bolda slips nicely into half guard.

Bolda throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Wang escapes and throws Bolda's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Bolda is looking for a sweep. Wang is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bolda is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wang pulls his head out easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are battling for position here. Bolda manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

and Wang counters with a good, hard body kick but Bolda shrugs it off.
Ting Yan Wang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wang misses with a straight left.
Bolda swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bolda scores with a sloppy right hand. Wang should have avoided that one.
Bolda avoids a kick to the body.
Wang dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bolda. That did some damage!

Bolda throws an off balance right hand
and Wang counters with a head kick.
Bolda throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bolda manages to avoid it.
Bolda closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bolda lands in his opponent's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bolda trying to control the position from guard on top but Wang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bolda got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wang has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bolda has managed to get both his arms back between Wang's legs - danger averted.
Wang looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bolda is one step ahead there.
Wang is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Bolda has his hands clasped together but Wang extends and breaks Bolda's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Wang.
