Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Llewelyn Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter has chosen Scooter - Fire as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rocky Tyson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
38 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Llewelyn Carter! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter moves in looking to clinch but Tyson pushes him off. Carter lands with a straight right. Tyson didn't see that one coming. Carter ducks right into an uppercut from Tyson.
It looks like Llewelyn Carter has been cut. Tyson lands a head shot. Tyson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Carter pushes Tyson up against the cage in a clinch. Carter tries to work over Tyson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Carter blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

I was talking to Tyson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Tyson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. A battle for position here, against the cage. Tyson lands a nice uppercut. Nice body punch from Tyson - that landed with a thud.
Tyson is looking to break free of the clinch but Carter has double underhooks. Carter is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Tyson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Carter looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Carter is looking to clinch but Tyson is avoiding it.
A shot to the body from Tyson misses and Carter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tyson throws a half hearted mid kick. Carter needs to keep his hands up - Tyson had a free shot at his head there. Carter keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tyson. Carter tries to land a front kick but Tyson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. That kick from Tyson tenderised Carter's leg. Carter is trying to keep his angry face on. Tyson throws a body punch but Carter moves out of range. Carter scoring well with a low kick there.
Carter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tyson. Carter attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tyson circles away quickly and effectively. Carter takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tyson scores with a one two! Carter had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
That has opened up Llewelyn Carter's cut even more. Carter blocks a jab. Tyson is looking to slow Carter down with leg kicks. Tyson blocks a low kick nicely. A head kick by Carter misses and Tyson makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Carter really felt that one! Tyson scores with a jab to the head.
Carter misses with a double jab.
Tyson throws a lazy right hand but Carter sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Tyson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carter. Carter scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Tyson lands with a thumping leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyson throws a body punch but Carter moves out of range. Tyson misses with a low kick.
A slow jab from Tyson misses its intended target. Tyson lands a head shot. A looping hook to the body misses from Carter. Tyson does a little dance to reset his feet. Carter takes the fight into the clinch. Carter is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Tyson is trying to break the clinch but Carter is controlling him. Carter tries to stall but Tyson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Tyson lands on the inside with an uppercut.
The cut above Llewelyn Carter's eye is starting to cause him problems now. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Tyson. Tyson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Tyson can't find room to land a body shot as Carter controls the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tyson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Tyson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tyson stuns Carter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Tyson lands a front kick. Tyson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Carter. This has been an exciting period of action! Tyson throws a leg kick that misses. Carter takes a shot right to the bread basket. Tyson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carter was well out of range. Poor timing from Tyson. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Tyson! Carter is out on his feet! Tyson rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Carter is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Carter is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rocky Tyson! Rocky Tyson retains his heavyweight title! Our winner, Rocky Tyson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
