Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nigel York (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). York comes to the cage accompanied by British Grenadiers Song. Maxwell comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sonne - Rammstein kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Nigel York could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ross Maxwell's chin.

York scores with a shot to the body.
Nigel York seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
York fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Maxwell looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Maxwell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but York swivels and escapes.
York walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Maxwell checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
York throws a shot from downtown. Maxwell moves away and avoids it.
Maxwell lands a glancing blow to the side of York's head.
York looks to score with a jab to the body but Maxwell is just out of range.
York stuns Maxwell with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Maxwell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by York.

and York counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

York lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Maxwell takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
York wants to clinch up but Maxwell keeps it at a distance.
Maxwell shoots in and drives through. York sprawls well.

Maxwell closes the distance and pushes York back into the cage.

Maxwell has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. York is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Maxwell has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. York avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
