The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson fails with the takedown
and Dent counters by clinching up.
Dent blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Anderson tries to land knees in the clinch but Dent avoids the damage to the body.
Dent breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Anderson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Anderson shoots and misses
and Dent counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Anderson thinking.
Dent scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Dent circles away from the clinch attempt
and Dent comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Anderson stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Dent is on him like rabid pit bull! Anderson slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harvey Dent!

Cliff Anderson was interviewed post fight and said 'well guys you can't win them all, but I will tell you that I will be back, stronger and more determined than ever.'.
