Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig Rave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rave comes to the cage accompanied by What Happened?. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Craig Rave! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gunnar Nelson! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson blocks a head kick by Rave.
Rave seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Rave misses with a low kick as Nelson jumps back. Rave throws a series of punches but Nelson moves out of range. Some wild striking there from Rave.
Sloppy strikes from Rave. Those never looked like landing. Nelson lands a high kick!
Rave wants to slow Nelson down by chopping away at his legs. Rave fails with a takedown attempt. Nelson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rave looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The crowd cheers as Rave lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nelson doesn't seem phased though. Rave misses with a two punch combination.

Nelson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rave gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rave postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Nelson looking to control.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Nelson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rave can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rave stands up over Nelson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Rave postures up and lands a big shot to Nelson's brow. Nelson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rave is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nelson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rave. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rave throwing shots but Nelson is blocking nicely. Rave passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Nelson wants to control but Rave is keeping busy.

Nelson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rave. Rave wants to control but Nelson postures up.
