Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Irchie Kast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Massa Hurmaaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Massa Hurmaaja!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurmaaja fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kast lands with a right hand.
Hurmaaja shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kast as he avoids it easily.
Hurmaaja fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Irchie Kast has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Massa Hurmaaja.
Kast connects with a leg kick. Hurmaaja looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kast scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Nice body punch from Kast.
Kast tries to score with a low kick but Hurmaaja moves his leg out of the way.
Hurmaaja has his takedown stuffed
and Kast counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hurmaaja shoots in looking for a takedown. Kast tries to sprawl out of it but Hurmaaja keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kast manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kast lands a jab to Hurmaaja's midsection.
Kast dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kast scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kast lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kast.

Hurmaaja with a poor takedown
and Kast counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kast works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Hurmaaja.
Hurmaaja fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kast avoids it really well and circles away.

Hurmaaja closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kast circles away.
Hurmaaja takes one to the chin there.
Hurmaaja dives in and grabs Kast's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kast pushes down on Hurmaaja's head and hops out.
Kast punishes Hurmaaja's body with a nice straight punch.
Kast scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hurmaaja doesn't seem bothered though.
Kast bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kast lands with an uppercut that bounces Hurmaaja off the cage and back into range.
Hurmaaja gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kast.
Hurmaaja closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kast is staying active underneath Hurmaaja, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Hurmaaja wants to work for an arm triangle but Kast is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kast is not content to let Hurmaaja control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kast knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hurmaaja on the ground.
Kast wants to improve his position but Hurmaaja is controlling well.
Hurmaaja landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Hurmaaja takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kast tries to get to full guard but Hurmaaja has control of the leg.
Kast tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Hurmaaja manages to move to mount!

Kast is in a horrible position here. Hurmaaja smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hurmaaja loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Kast scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hurmaaja land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hurmaaja stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Massa Hurmaaja!
