The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Ortiz.
Ortiz lands a big head kick that sends Hamilton tumbling to the mat! Ortiz takes a step backwards and waves Hamilton back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Tim Hamilton has been cut.
Ortiz doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hamilton counters with a three punch combo that has Ortiz backing up. Ortiz nods at Hamilton to acknowledge the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Hamilton counters with a two punch combo.
Ortiz closes the distance but Hamilton moves to the side
and Hamilton counters with a one-two to the body.
Ortiz looks to land a body kick but Hamilton moved away.

Tim Hamilton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paulo Ortiz.

and Hamilton counters with a two punch combo.
Ortiz is rocked!
Hamilton circles away from the clinch attempt
and Hamilton counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Ortiz badly! He tries to strike back but Hamilton puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Ortiz out cold! Oh man, Ortiz will never hear the end of this one!
