19 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricard Cuenca! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! That kick from Crash tenderised Cuenca's leg. Cuenca is trying to keep his angry face on. Crash throws a body kick that misses. Cuenca fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Cuenca lands with a nice body punch. Crash lands a two punch combo.
Cuenca moves away from the strike by Crash. Cuenca avoids the head kick by Crash.
Crash throws a head kick that misses. Crash misses with a left hand and Cuenca counters with a left to the body. A swing and a miss from Crash. Crash looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Cuenca uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Crash. That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cuenca lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Nice body kick there by Cuenca. Crash ducks under a wild hook from Cuenca. Cuenca clinches up against the cage. Cuenca lands with a light punch inside. Cuenca misses with a knee strike.

Cuenca lands an elbow that stopped Crash in his tracks for a moment. Cuenca's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Crash throws a half hearted mid kick. Crash lands a jab. Crash connects with a body shot that sends Cuenca's belly button to the back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dickie Crash will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
