Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shad Craft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan De La Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shad Craft! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Juan De La Cruz! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Craft tries to clinch up. Craft misses with a double jab
and De La Cruz counters with a head kick. That will keep Craft thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Craft really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Craft has taken the fight to the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on De La Cruz's face as he tries to break the clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by De La Cruz.

It looks like Shad Craft has been cut.
Craft escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
De La Cruz throws a body punch but Craft moves out of range.
Craft gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. De La Cruz tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De La Cruz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Craft throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and De La Cruz counters with a nice uppercut. Craft lands a glancing blow to the side of De La Cruz's head. Craft tries to clinch up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Craft looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Craft looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Shad Craft seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. De La Cruz moves out of range of the body kick.
Craft feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. De La Cruz is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Craft dives into side control.

Craft goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, De La Cruz rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Craft's guard! Nice work there by De La Cruz! De La Cruz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Craft preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Craft had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. De La Cruz defends it easily. De La Cruz throwing strikes but missing. De La Cruz is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. De La Cruz wants to stand and escape but instead Craft has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. De La Cruz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Craft in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. De La Cruz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Craft gets to his feet. De La Cruz looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! De La Cruz lands a slapping body shot.
Craft tries to close the distance and clinch but De La Cruz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. De La Cruz keeps the fight on the outside.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Craft on the wrong end of a nice jab. Craft tries to clinch up but De La Cruz circles away and keeps his distance. Craft shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. De La Cruz throws a right hand that Craft ducks under and follows up with a left that Craft also avoids with ease. De La Cruz takes a swing at Craft's ribcage but misses. Craft fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shad Craft. That's going to take a lot out of him.
De La Cruz has taken the fight to the clinch.
De La Cruz is trying to push Craft away but Craft has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Juan De La Cruz will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Shad Craft's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Craft walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. De La Cruz checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Craft gets a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De La Cruz pushes Craft off looking to stand but Craft dives back in and keeps control.

Craft is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Craft scores with a couple of good hammerfists. De La Cruz blocking the ground and pound attempt from Craft.
Craft is working for a kimura but De La Cruz is defending it quite comfortably.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
De La Cruz moves into the clinch.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
De La Cruz manages to pull guard.
Craft postures up in De La Cruz's guard and throws a big left but De La Cruz blocks it. Craft prevents De La Cruz from getting back to his feet.
Craft drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but De La Cruz manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Craft has De La Cruz in his guard.
 The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Craft managing to control the position. Craft continues to stall. Craft has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. De La Cruz in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Craft is pulling down on De La Cruz's head. It's preventing any offense from De La Cruz, at least for the moment. De La Cruz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Craft's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Craft keeping moving, preventing De La Cruz from controlling successfully.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Shad Craft is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. De La Cruz feints and then cracks Craft's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Craft down.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Craft fails miserably with a takedown attempt. De La Cruz is looking to score with low kicks. Craft shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with De La Cruz but De La Cruz pushes him off and we're back to square one. Craft fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shad Craft. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Craft is trying hard to land a takedown here. De La Cruz sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Juan De La Cruz will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Shad Craft's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
De La Cruz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. De La Cruz throws a push kick but Craft slaps the foot to one side. Craft avoids the body shot from De La Cruz.
Craft fails to land the takedown. De La Cruz misses with a few strikes there.

Craft is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! De La Cruz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! De La Cruz has escaped and now he's on top!
De La Cruz wants to stand but Craft has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Craft has his hands on De La Cruz's head, controlling the position. Craft has a closed guard, preventing De La Cruz from standing up. Shad Craft overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. De La Cruz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. De La Cruz is looking to stand up but Craft won't let him. Craft managing to control the position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. More hug and hope from Craft.

De La Cruz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. De La Cruz throws a push kick but Craft slaps the foot to one side. De La Cruz throws the left hand but Craft avoids the punch easily.
De La Cruz takes the fight into the clinch. Craft can't break the clinch.
Craft pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Craft shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says De La Cruz as he avoids it easily.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Craft shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts De La Cruz as he jumps to the side. Both fighters are breathing heavily. No luck for Craft with that takedown attempt.

De La Cruz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Craft. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Craft misses with a double jab.
Shad Craft has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Juan De La Cruz is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. No luck with that takedown attempt from De La Cruz.
And that's the end of the fight! Juan De La Cruz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got De La Cruz winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
