Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ed Rollack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rollack comes to the cage accompanied by Will T. Bear - For a Few Dollars More . Ed Rollack has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ed Rollack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chris Junior !
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rollack lands a nice hook to Junior 's body. Junior takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Rollack shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Junior defends it nicely.
Nice sprawl there from Rollack as Junior shoots in.
Rollack comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rollack throws a shot from downtown. Junior moves away and avoids it.
Rollack slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Junior 's corner calls for a 1-2. Junior obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Junior throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rollack moves into range and connects with a jab.
Junior closes the distance and clinches up with Rollack, looking for a takedown. Junior pushes Rollack against the cage but Rollack circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Junior has Rollack pressed against the cage, preventing Rollack from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Rollack throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rollack lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Junior backs up against the cage.
Rollack lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rollack shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Junior as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ed Rollack. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Junior doesn't manage to clinch there - Rollack circles away.
Junior throws a body shot but no joy.
Junior shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rollack pinned against the cage. Rollack gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Rollack closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Junior did well to prevent Rollack getting side control.
Junior is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rollack wants to work for an arm triangle but Junior is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Junior is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rollack scores with a couple of nice shots.

Junior has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rollack is working away from the top position though.
Rollack takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rollack connects with a nice short shot to Junior 's temple.

Rollack is looking for a kimura but Junior is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rollack to get the leverage.
Junior wants to get back to full guard.

Rollack is working for a submission of some sort.
Junior wants to control but Rollack is keeping busy.
The fighters are battling for position here. Junior manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rollack's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Junior utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Rollack displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Junior throws out the jab.

Junior is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rollack.
We've been told by Rollack's head coaches at Wax on Wax off 'Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

It looks like Ed Rollack has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Rollack here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
