The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alderete goes for a double leg but Jimenez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jimenez continues to drive forward.
Alderete is working for takedown but Jimenez is calmly controlling the position for now.

Alderete throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jimenez tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Alderete is in Jimenez's guard.
