Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Gage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Halo Olah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Gage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Joe Gage! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Halo Olah! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Olah throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gage was covering up waiting for the punch and Olah finishes the takedown easily into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Olah accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gage bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Olah's guard. Olah looking for a sweep. Not yet Olah, not yet. Olah working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gage doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gage manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gage sitting in guard here, content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Olah working for a triangle but Gage defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gage controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olah seems keen to control Gage's posture. Gage looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Olah working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gage doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gage manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Olah is trying to keep Gage in close.
Gage got a little sloppy there for a moment and Olah has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gage has managed to get both his arms back between Olah's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Olah working for a triangle but Gage defends it easily.
Olah is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gage defends well. Gage sitting in guard here, content to control. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Olah can't keep his opponent in guard - Gage advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Gage is looking to take a break and control but Olah is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gage controlling the pace. Olah is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gage wants to take a breather but Olah is having none of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Gage connects with a body shot. Olah throws a front kick aimed at Gage's knee but Gage avoids it well. Gage throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Gage lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Olah checks the leg kick nicely there.
Gage moves out of range as Olah throws a body kick.
Olah buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Olah shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gage but Gage pushes him off and we're back to square one. Gage lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gage paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Gage ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gage slips under a jab. Olah sizes up Gage with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Gage fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Gage throws a big shot that misses. Gage throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Gage tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Olah was well out of range. Poor timing from Gage. Gage defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Olah. Olah ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Olah misses the jab. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gage wants to clinch up but Olah keeps it at a distance. Olah shoots in for a takedown but Gage shows good takedown defense. Joe Gage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Halo Olah. Olah with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gage to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Halo Olah has been cut. Olah keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Gage dominated that round. The cut man is working on Halo Olah's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Olah avoids the body shot from Gage.
Gage tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Horrible takedown attempt by Olah or perhaps it was just good defense by Gage, which made it look bad. Olah throws a leg kick that misses. Olah tries a head kick but it misses.
Joe Gage is winning the standup battle so far. Gage throws a body shot but no joy. Olah tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gage sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Olah somewhat. Gage throws a low kick but Olah avoids it. Gage cracks Olah with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gage has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Olah to stand back up!
Olah is rocked! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Gage engages and cracks Olah with a massive lead left hook - Olah tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Gage is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joe Gage! Joe Gage is the new heavyweight champion! Joe Gage decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
