Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Lagk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Rouch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rouch's choice of entrance music: Can I. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Lagk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chase Rouch! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rouch tries to clinch there but Lagk circles away.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Lagk can't break the clinch.
Rouch throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Both guys are working to get underhooks. Lagk gets a trip takedown into half guard. Lagk is keen to just control but Rouch is a slippery customer. Lagk passes to side control. Lagk looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Rouch is avoiding damage well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rouch can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lagk is looking to take a break and control but Rouch is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lagk throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Lagk has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Lagk manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Rouch is looking to stand up but Lagk won't let him. Lagk wants to sweep here but Rouch controlling him for the moment. Lagk seems keen to control Rouch's posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rouch manages to land in guard. Lagk is fighting to break Rouch's control of his arms but Rouch is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Lagk tries to free his leg and advance position but Rouch is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rouch keeping moving, preventing Lagk from controlling successfully. Lagk with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lagk trying to control the position from guard on top but Rouch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lagk loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Rouch wanted to stand there but Lagk had control of the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Rouch tries to close the distance and clinch but Lagk swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rouch lands a front kick. Lagk tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rouch sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lagk somewhat. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lagk rushes Rouch and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rouch is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Lagk clinches up with Rouch and pushes him back against the cage. Lagk is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Rouch connects with a nasty looking knee right to Lagk's face.
