Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yuki Takano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grey Worm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Worm has chosen Der Kaptain as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Worm ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Takano moves away.
Worm throws a hook to the side of Takano's head but Takano sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Takano bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Worm misses with an uppercut
and Takano counters with a good low kick that Worm was not able to check.
Takano lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Worm is rocked!
It looks like Grey Worm has been cut.
Worm dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Takano takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Takano lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Worm has a takedown stuffed.
Takano scoring well with a low kick there.
Worm waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Takano.
A combination from Takano does no damage.
Worm looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Takano fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Worm looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Takano ducks under a wild hook from Worm.
Worm jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Takano throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Worm keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Takano misses with a wild body shot.
Worm takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Takano ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Takano gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Worm.
Takano bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Takano thumps Worm with a low kick.
Worm connects with a body shot.
Worm thows a left - swing and a miss!
Takano fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Worm.
Takano looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Worm. Takano does a little dance to reset his feet.
Worm throws a lazy uppercut
and Takano counters with a nice body kick.
Yuki Takano is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice sprawl there from Takano as Worm shoots in.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Worm just misses with a punch to the body.

Takano throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Worm throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Takano takes one to the chin there.
Worm checks a low kick from Takano.
Worm throws an overhand right that lands on Takano's shoulder, as Takano tries to avoid the shot.
Takano ducks under a wild hook from Worm.
Worm misses with an uppercut. Takano saw that one coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Worm. Takano does a little dance to reset his feet.
Worm works over Takano's head and body with a nice combination.
Worm misses with a left hand
and Takano counters with a low kick, right behind Worm 's knee.
Takano misses with a few strikes there.
Good work by Worm as he checks the leg kick.
Takano tries to land a leg kick but Worm saw it coming and moves away.

Nice defenses there by Takano.

Takano cracks Worm with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Worm is still on wobbly legs! Can Takano finish him?
Worm dives in for a single leg takedown but Takano sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Worm seems to have recovered his senses.
Yuki Takano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grey Worm.
Takano lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Worm backwards.
Takano pushes Worm back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Takano lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Takano.
A right hand to the body from Takano.
Worm looks winded!
Worm tries to throw a body punch but Takano avoids it by throwing Worm back against the cage.
Worm misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Takano lands a body shot in the clinch.
Worm tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Takano just stands there and leans against the cage.
Takano works on Worm's body with a couple of short punches.
Takano slows down the pace here.
Takano lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Worm or not.
Takano works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Worm misses with a punch to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Takano scores with a shoulder strike.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Worm tries to pull guard but Takano forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Takano prevents a body shot from Worm.
Still in the clinch, Takano scores with a nice short uppercut.

Takano controlling the action here for a moment.
Takano digs a right hand into Worm's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Worm's gas tank.
Takano lands a nice uppercut.
Takano pushes Worm back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Takano's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Worm throws a hook but Takano blocks it.
Takano ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Worm's jaw. Worm's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Takano does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yuki Takano!

Our winner, Yuki Takano, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
