Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Duplesris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ryan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I'd Love to Knock the Hell out of You by Hank Williams, Jr. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Ryan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seth Duplesris! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duplesris throws the left hand but Ryan avoids the punch easily. Duplesris misses the shot to the body. Duplesris throws the left hand but Ryan avoids the punch easily. Duplesris lands with a cross.
It looks like Daniel Ryan has been cut. Duplesris connects with a body shot. Ryan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Duplesris throws a sloppy head kick and Ryan moves out of range easily. Duplesris uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ryan. Duplesris misses with a series of wild punches.
Ryan misses with a hook. Ryan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Duplesris throws a shot to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Duplesris. No joy for Ryan on that attempt. Duplesris stalks Ryan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ryan's face. Ryan staggers backwards, shaken. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A big left from Ryan misses. Duplesris throws a jab when Ryan was well out of range. Duplesris throws a nice looking combination but Ryan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ryan showed some decent athleticism there. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Duplesris tries to kick Ryan off but Ryan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Duplesris is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ryan pulls his head out easily. Ryan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ryan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ryan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Ryan wants to take a breather but Duplesris is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duplesris wants to control but Ryan is keeping busy and won't allow it. Duplesris is trying to stand.
Ryan is looking for a kimura here.
Duplesris is trying to stand up here but Ryan is controlling him well. Duplesris wants to get back to full guard. Ryan lands strikes from half guard. Duplesris makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Duplesris swinging wildly here.
Duplesris throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ryan pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ryan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Duplesris looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Ryan lands an elbow.
Duplesris is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryan is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Duplesris looks calm but he's in trouble here. Ryan gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Duplesris is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ryan lets go of the hold and Duplesris can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Daniel Ryan! Daniel Ryan decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
