Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Chow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dermot MacMurrough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dermot MacMurrough will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lee Chow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dermot MacMurrough! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacMurrough tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chow swats him away and circles back towards the center. MacMurrough misses with a looping right. Chow uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before MacMurrough has time to react. MacMurrough missing with a left hand there. Chow was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Chow cracks MacMurrough with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Chow tries for a takedown but MacMurrough sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Chow closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. An elbow from Chow crashes against the mat.
MacMurrough can't do much from the bottom here. Chow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Chow working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Chow scoring with punches from side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chow works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. MacMurrough is not content to let Chow control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacMurrough parries the strikes from Chow easily there. Chow is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable MacMurrough to escape.
MacMurrough defending against the ground and pound. Chow controls the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Chow tries to score with some ground and pound. MacMurrough controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Chow advances to full mount. MacMurrough keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Chow working for a guillotine from mount but MacMurrough is in no mood to give up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chow with shots to the head and body - MacMurrough looks very uncomfortable down there. MacMurrough tries to hold on but Chow pushes him away. MacMurrough is trying desperately to improve position. MacMurrough keeps trying to improve his position. The referee warns MacMurrough that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Chow controlling the position easily from mount. Chow lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chow in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Chow is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. MacMurrough can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
MacMurrough is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. MacMurrough takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. We've been informed that MacMurrough has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. MacMurrough is desperately trying to improve his position but Chow has a good base and remains in mount. Chow landing shots from mount. Chow in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if MacMurrough can do anything to dispel that myth. Chow controlling from the full mount. Chow lands with some vicious ground and pound - can MacMurrough hang on?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chow controlling from the full mount. Chow avoids the attempt from MacMurrough to control. Chow dominating with strikes here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! MacMurrough taking shots to the head. BOOM! Chow connects with a massive shot to the dome!
MacMurrough really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chow drops a big elbow. That's hurt MacMurrough! More shots from Chow and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lee Chow! In his post fight interview, Lee Chow started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
