Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shepherd moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Mitchelson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Shepherd looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mitchelson scores with a body shot.
Jack Mitchelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shepherd closes the distance and clinches.
Shepherd prevents the takedown attempt.
Shepherd using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Shepherd tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Mitchelson tries to pull guard but Shepherd forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Mitchelson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Shepherd just stands there and leans against the cage.
Rufus Shepherd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Mitchelson.
Mitchelson wants to take the fight to the mat but Shepherd manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Shepherd pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mitchelson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Shepherd is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mitchelson plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Shepherd to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Shepherd just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jack Mitchelson!
In defeat, Rufus Shepherd stepped up to the mic, saying 'Unfortunately i lost but i will train a lot to win next fight for myself and you- my fans'.
