Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kickin Rad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinícius Cavalcante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rad comes to the cage accompanied by Kids Of The K-Hole. Cavalcante has chosen Entrance as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kickin Rad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vinícius Cavalcante! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rad throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cavalcante blocks the body kick.
Rad scores with a sloppy right hand. Cavalcante should have avoided that one. Cavalcante is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Cavalcante shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rad sprawls well. Rad wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cavalcante gets slowly back to his feet. Rad circles away from the clinch attempt.

Rad misses with a leg kick and Cavalcante counters with a nice uppercut. Rad throws a head kick that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cavalcante has his foot on Rad's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rad works his way back into a safe position though. Rad passes Cavalcante's left leg - he's now in half guard. Rad wants to take a breather but Cavalcante is having none of it. Rad takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Cavalcante taking some punishment here, with Rad in his half guard. Cavalcante has hold of Rad's hands but Rad slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rad slips a nice elbow through Cavalcante's hands, connecting with Cavalcante's forehead.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Rad thows a huge punch but Cavalcante dodges it nicely.

Cavalcante can't keep hold of the triangle and Rad manages to pass to side control! Rad is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cavalcante knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Cavalcante regains half guard there - taking advantage of Rad's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Cavalcante wants to improve his position but Rad is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rad trying to control the action but Cavalcante is working from the bottom. Cavalcante is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cavalcante slips under a jab. Cavalcante blocks a low kick nicely. Cavalcante shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rad but Rad pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rad, right into the meat.

A decent looking cross lands there for Rad. Rad throws out a loose jab but Cavalcante uses good head movement to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rad tried to score with a low kick but Cavalcante checks it. Rad is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cavalcante can do to turn this around? Cavalcante gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rad has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cavalcante throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

A slapping body kick lands there for Rad. Rad scores with a kick to the midsection. Cavalcante is breathing heavily. A big right from Cavalcante misses. Rad misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cavalcante lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The fighters circling - Rad throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rad scores with a hook to the body. Cavalcante takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Cavalcante takes a swing at Rad's ribcage but misses. Kickin Rad is winning the standup battle so far. Cavalcante swings for the body but Rad moves out of range.
Rad tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cavalcante swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rad lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A jab from Rad does it's job there. Rad looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Cavalcante has hold of Rad's hands but Rad slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Cavalcante actively working from the bottom here. Rad stalling. Rad is trying to control. Cavalcante wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Cavalcante wants to get back to full guard. Rad stalling. Rad ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cavalcante moves away. Cavalcante misses with a right hand and Rad counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rad is looking to take a break and control but Cavalcante is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rad in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
