Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

23 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Henry Ngo! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ngo has a takedown stuffed. Ngo shoots in for a double leg but Amaral sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Amaral throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Henry Ngo has been cut. A head kick misses from Ngo. Ngo fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rafael Amaral has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Ngo. Ngo fails with a takedown attempt. Amaral misses with a head kick.
Amaral throws an overhand right that lands on Ngo's shoulder, as Ngo tries to avoid the shot. Amaral misses with a body shot.
Ngo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Amaral sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ngo somewhat. Amaral swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ngo. Amaral throws a series of punches but Ngo moves out of range. Amaral tries a head kick but it misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ngo is defended easily by Amaral. Amaral blocks a head kick by Ngo.
Ngo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Amaral. Ngo misses with a takedown attempt - Amaral sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Amaral stuffs the takedown. Amaral has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Ngo is looking to clinch. Amaral lands a head shot. Ngo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Amaral to the ground. Ngo is now in Amaral's guard. Ngo throws a big right hand that misses. Ngo wants to stand but Amaral has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Ngo trying to control the position from guard on top but Amaral is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amaral tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ngo has gone for a leg lock! Amaral slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ngo's guard.
Ngo has his foot on Amaral's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Amaral works his way back into a safe position though. Ngo looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Amaral working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Amaral controlling from the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ngo throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Ngo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Amaral can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ngo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Amaral is aware though and is defending well. Ngo looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ngo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Amaral is one step ahead there. Ngo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ngo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ngo has a closed guard, preventing Amaral from standing up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Amaral with a nice cross. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ngo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Amaral sprawls well. Amaral wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ngo gets slowly back to his feet. Ngo darts in looking for a takedown but Amaral gets double underhooks and turns Ngo into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rafael Amaral dominated that round. The cut man is working on Henry Ngo's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ngo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Amaral throws a wild body kick that Ngo sees coming a mile off. Amaral blocks the body kick.
Ngo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Amaral avoids it really well and circles away. Ngo fails with the takedown. Amaral is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ngo blocks a jab. Amaral lands a lovely overhand right. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ngo shoots for a double leg takedown but Amaral sprawls well. He's pushed Ngo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Rafael Amaral has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Ngo. Amaral keeps the fight on the outside. Ngo fails with a takedown attempt. Amaral scores with a head kick. Ngo tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Amaral misses. Amaral throws the left hand but Ngo avoids the punch easily. Amaral lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ngo is rocked! Amaral displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ngo. Ngo is still on wobbly legs! Can Amaral finish him? Today's fight clock is brought to you by...
