Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Jameson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miguel Hernandez!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jameson misses with a low kick.
Hernandez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A slapping body kick lands there for Jameson.
Hernandez has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Jameson throws a leg kick but Hernandez checks it.
A clash of legs there as Hernandez blocks the low kick.
Jameson throws a body kick that misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jameson, right into the meat.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jameson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hernandez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hernandez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hernandez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hernandez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jameson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Hernandez drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jameson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jameson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jameson!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A close round but Miguel Hernandez will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hernandez connects with a leg kick. Jameson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

and Hernandez counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jameson won't be happy with that.

Hernandez wants to take a breather but Jameson manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Hernandez.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jameson has his foot on Hernandez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hernandez works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hernandez loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
A decent looking cross lands there for Hernandez.
Hernandez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jameson.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Miguel Hernandez is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
