Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Houser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Knuckles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Houser comes to the cage accompanied by Hackensaw Boys-Keep it simple. Knuckles is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by John Lennon - Working Class Hero. Jimmy Knuckles has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houser slips a jab from Knuckles.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Houser throws an overhand right that lands on Knuckles's shoulder, as Knuckles tries to avoid the shot.
Knuckles slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Houser fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Houser uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Knuckles.
Knuckles avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nice body punch from Knuckles.
Knuckles catches Houser napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Houser to the canvas!
Houser is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Knuckles won't allow Houser to sweep him here.
Knuckles is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Houser seems to have got his legs back now.
Houser has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Houser is striking but Knuckles is not phased and passes to half guard.
Houser is looking for a sweep. Knuckles is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Knuckles blocks the strikes from Houser.
Knuckles slows the pace down in half guard.
Houser tries to get to full guard but Knuckles has control of the leg.

Houser is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Knuckles's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Knuckles's back!

Knuckles wants to escape the position.
Knuckles just trying to survive but Houser is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Houser throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Houser missing with punches from the back.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Houser is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
Houser has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Houser is looking for the choke from the back position but Knuckles is controlling his hands well.
Houser is striking well from the back but Knuckles escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.
Knuckles wants to control but Houser is keeping busy.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Knuckles keeping hold of Houser's head, controlling as best he can.
Houser throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Houser working over Knuckles with some ground and pound. Knuckles looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Knuckles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Houser. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Knuckles won't allow Houser to pass to mount.
Houser seems to be working for a kimura but Knuckles defends the submission attempt.
Houser is breathing heavily.
Houser is thwarting Knuckles's attempts to control the position.
Houser wants to work for an arm triangle but Knuckles is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Knuckles regains full guard. Nicely done.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Houser trying to control but Knuckles is working from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Houser accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Knuckles bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Knuckles misses with an uppercut.
Knuckles lands a nice shot that snaps Houser's head back.
Houser blocks a jab.
Knuckles stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Knuckles drops Houser with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Houser looks back up at him and smiles so Knuckles waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Knuckles cracks Houser with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Houser falls to his knees and Knuckles doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Knuckles!
