Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dario Dumic!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Dumic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Silva looks to score with a jab to the body but Dumic is just out of range.
Dumic blocks a jab.
Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Dumic on that attempt.
Silva moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Dumic displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Silva throws out the jab.
Dumic shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A jab lands there for Silva.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed right hand from Silva misses the target.
Silva scores with a shot to the body.
Silva scores with a sloppy right hand. Dumic should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva sizes up Dumic with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Dumic is rocked!
Dumic fails to land the takedown.
Daniel Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dario Dumic.
Silva swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dumic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Silva misses with a looping left.
Dumic shoots and misses
and Silva makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Dumic looks winded!
Silva throws the left hand but Dumic avoids the punch easily.
Dumic takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Silva counters with a crisp one two that drops Dumic! Silva thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Dumic to his feet! Dumic is in big trouble!
Dumic is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Dumic hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Daniel Silva!
