Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Dierk Riese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darryl Hinds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dierk Riese! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Darryl Hinds! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hinds rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hinds takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hinds clinches with his opponent.
Hinds tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Hinds is stalling here.
Hinds can't break the clinch.
Riese misses with a body punch.
Hinds taking a breather. Riese tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hinds's elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Riese swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Riese doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hinds is trying to break the clinch but Riese is controlling him. Hinds misses with some punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hinds working hard to break the clinch. Riese wants to get back to striking at distance but Hinds won't allow it.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hinds. A nice right hand lands inside from Riese. Riese blocks an uppercut.
Riese tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Hinds manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Riese prevents Hinds from breaking the clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Hinds. Hinds blocks a body shot from Riese. Riese tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hinds's elbow. Hinds tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Hinds misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Riese tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hinds's elbow. Hinds is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hinds is trying to break the clinch but Riese is controlling him. Hinds misses with a hook to the ribs.

Riese definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Hinds looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riese softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Hinds works on Riese's body with a couple of short punches. Hinds stalling in the clinch.
Riese tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hinds's elbow. Hinds pressing his opponent against the cage. We've been informed that Hinds has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Hinds wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A quick uppercut on the inside from Hinds. Stalling in the clinch from Hinds.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Darryl Hinds. Hinds misses with a combination
and Riese counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hinds is rocked!
It looks like Darryl Hinds has been cut. Hinds misses with a series of wild punches.
Riese staggers Hinds with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Hinds looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue! Hinds is still on wobbly legs! Can Riese finish him? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Riese moves away from the strike by Hinds. Hinds displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Hinds seems to have recovered his senses. Hinds closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hinds tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Riese's elbow. Hinds tries to circle away but Riese has him pinned against the cage. Hinds is trying to break the clinch but Riese is controlling him. Riese doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Hinds is trying to push Riese away but Riese has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Hinds has Riese pressed against the cage.
Hinds escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hinds lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Hinds misses with a left hand and Riese counters with a left and a right that stings Hinds. Hinds scores with a nice strike. Hinds connects with a right hand. Riese shakes it off. Hinds misses with a body shot.
Hinds tries to close the distance and clinch but Riese swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hinds fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Riese throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A shot to the body from Hinds misses and Riese counters with a lovely shot to the body. Hinds looks winded! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hinds scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
A lazy body kick from Hinds and Riese counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Riese swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hinds throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Riese counters with a straight right that drops Hinds to the canvas! Will Hinds beat the count? He's still wobbly and as the count reaches 7, he's still struggling to make it. 8...9...10. He's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Dierk Riese!
