Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jarred Mccormick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Maksimov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Maksimov's choice of entrance music: The Reaper . Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mccormick gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Maksimov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Maksimov wants to control from the top but Mccormick keeps moving.

Maksimov drops back looking for a leg! Mccormick is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mccormick manages to kick Maksimov off! Maksimov jumps back into Mccormick's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maksimov is working Mccormick over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

It looks like Jarred Mccormick has been cut.
Maksimov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mccormick can't fight it off and eventually Maksimov manages to take the fight to the floor. Mccormick looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mccormick manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Maksimov manages to get himself to full guard.

We've been informed that Maksimov has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Well Maksimov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
