Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Leroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cuthbert Allgood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Leroy!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cuthbert Allgood!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leroy shoots in but Allgood avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Leroy looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Leroy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Leroy trying to control but Allgood is working from the bottom.
Leroy is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Leroy postures up.
Leroy wants to control from the top but Allgood keeps moving.
Allgood is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Leroy is looking to work some ground and pound but Allgood has wrist control.
Leroy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Allgood swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Allgood has his foot on Leroy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Leroy works his way back into a safe position though.
Allgood tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Leroy wants to stand but Allgood is controlling his posture from full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Leroy wants to work for an arm triangle but Allgood is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Leroy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Leroy seems to be looking for submissions.

Leroy is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Leroy is breathing heavily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Allgood tries to reverse the position but Leroy maintains control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Allgood reaches up to try and control the position but Leroy seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Allgood rolls and tries to escape and now Leroy has his back!

Leroy is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Allgood has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Allgood really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Leroy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Leroy has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Allgood has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bruce Leroy dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Allgood ducks under a wild hook from Leroy.
Leroy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Leroy misses with a body shot.
Some wild striking there from Allgood.
Allgood has his takedown stuffed
and Leroy counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Allgood gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Leroy forces his way into half guard.
Allgood wants to get back to his feet.
Bruce Leroy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Allgood is breathing heavily.

Leroy passes to side control.
Leroy trying to control the action but Allgood is working from the bottom.

Leroy wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Allgood, who protects the arm well.
Leroy taking a break here but Allgood is having none of it and regains half guard.

and Leroy counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Allgood's guard now.
Bruce Leroy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cuthbert Allgood.

Allgood is looking for a sweep. Leroy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Still in half guard, Leroy seems content to control.

Allgood looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bruce Leroy dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Leroy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Leroy lands a nice hook to Allgood's body. Allgood takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bruce Leroy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Leroy counters with a single leg into guard. Allgood didn't expect that.

Leroy postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Allgood to stand up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Leroy counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Leroy is looking to chop away at Allgood's legs.
Allgood has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Leroy finds it's way round the side to connect with Allgood's head.
Leroy misses with a body kick.

Leroy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Allgood trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Leroy putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
The referee warns Allgood that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Allgood has given up his back.

Leroy has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Allgood is defending well but eventually Leroy manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Allgood has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bruce Leroy!
