The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor fails with a takedown attempt.
McGregor throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rodic fails to land with a series of punches.
A combination from Rodic does no damage.
Rodic tries to bum rush McGregor with a series of wild strikes but McGregor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rodic throws a sloppy head kick and McGregor moves out of range easily.
Rodic scores with a hook to the body. McGregor takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Rodic throws a right hand that McGregor ducks under and follows up with a left that McGregor also avoids with ease.
McGregor looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
McGregor looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
McGregor's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McGregor seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
McGregor is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

McGregor is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Rodic flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
McGregor throwing shots but Rodic is blocking nicely.

McGregor thows a huge punch but Rodic dodges it nicely.
McGregor has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
McGregor working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

McGregor lands a couple of good shots and Rodic has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
McGregor is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Rodic has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but McGregor has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Rodic taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. McGregor doesn't care though - he's delighted!
