Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Sinatra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Tamad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tamad has chosen The Joker as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
38 - 20 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Sinatra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 13 - 1, fighting out of London, Juan Tamad! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tamad connects with a body shot. Sinatra connects with the punch. Sinatra lands a nice looking body shot.
Tamad misses with a straight right. Sinatra attempts a counter takedown but Tamad avoids it well and moves away. The crowd cheers as Sinatra lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tamad doesn't seem phased though. Tamad lands a nice shot that snaps Sinatra's head back.
Sinatra connects with a jab. Tamad lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Sinatra dodges the punch combination from Tamad.
Tamad throws a low kick but Sinatra moves out of range easily. Tamad throws a leg kick but Sinatra checks it. Sinatra has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Sinatra dips down and scores with a jab to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Tamad tried to score with a low kick but Sinatra checks it. Sinatra changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tamad looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sinatra in side control, throwing shots but Tamad defends.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sinatra controls the position. Sinatra looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Tamad is avoiding damage well.
Tamad prevents Sinatra from improving position. Sinatra throwing strikes but missing, from side control. This fight is sponsored by Chainsaw 7. More blood and guts and stuff like that, in cinemas everywhere now! Tamad tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sinatra wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Sinatra lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sinatra trying to control the position but Tamad is working away. Sinatra tries to advance to mount but Tamad denies him. Sinatra in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Tamad regains half guard. Tamad is trying to get back to full guard. Sinatra sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Tamad defending well though. Sinatra looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sinatra is working hard here to advance position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Sinatra lands with an overhand left. A big right from Sinatra misses. A looping hook to the body misses from Sinatra. Tamad does a little dance to reset his feet. Sinatra staying out of range there. Sinatra drops down looking for a counter takedown but Tamad sprawls and moves away. Tamad throws a quick inside leg kick. Tamad connects with a solid leg kick. A nice leg kick lands there from Tamad. Sinatra throws an overhand right that lands on Tamad's shoulder, as Tamad tries to avoid the shot. Tamad changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tamad walks into a straight right hand from Sinatra. Tamad misses with a hook. Sinatra ducked under it nicely. A jab from Sinatra misses. Tamad drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sinatra defends it well. Sinatra misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tamad.
Tamad with the counter takedown but Sinatra avoids it easily. The fighters circling - Tamad throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Tamad walks into a jab. Sinatra takes one to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tamad throws a shot from downtown. Sinatra moves away and avoids it. A momentary lapse in concentration from Tamad enables Sinatra to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tamad manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Sinatra postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Sinatra throws an elbow that misses. Tamad uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sinatra's guard. Nice move by Tamad! Tamad working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Sinatra dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Tamad ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Juan Tamad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tamad thows a left - swing and a miss! Nice body punch from Sinatra. Sinatra getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Sinatra misses the jab. Tamad throws the left hand but Sinatra avoids the punch easily. Jab by Sinatra. Sinatra gets the takedown into side control. Sinatra postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Tamad tries to buck Sinatra off but Sinatra is having none of it. Sinatra is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tamad can do to turn this around? Sinatra tries to score with some ground and pound. Tamad controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tamad can't do much from the bottom here. Sinatra trying to control the action but Tamad is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sinatra tries to move to full mount but Tamad actually manages to regain half guard. Tamad keeps control of the position for the meantime. Sinatra trying to pass the guard but Tamad defending well. Tamad keeping control of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sinatra is trying to control the action in half guard but Tamad is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sinatra throws an overhand right that lands on Tamad's shoulder, as Tamad tries to avoid the shot. A looping hook to the body misses from Tamad. Sinatra does a little dance to reset his feet. Tamad thuds his shin into the meat of Sinatra's side. Sinatra scores with a shot to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Tamad. Tamad ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tamad.
Tamad throws out a loose jab but Sinatra uses good head movement to avoid it. Sinatra moves out of range as Tamad strikes. Sinatra looks to score with a jab to the body but Tamad is just out of range. Sinatra lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Tamad at a distance.

Tamad walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Sinatra lands an overhand right. Sinatra moves away from the strike by Tamad. Tamad scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sinatra in his tracks. Sinatra takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Sinatra takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Tamad tries to bum rush Sinatra with a series of wild strikes but Sinatra uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tamad lands a lovely overhand right. Tamad lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Sinatra misses with an uppercut. Tamad lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A jab lands there for Tamad. Sinatra connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tamad. Tamad circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Tamad misses with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sinatra darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Tamad uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sinatra has time to react. Sinatra throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tamad tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sinatra is in Tamad's guard. Sinatra in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Tamad keeping moving, preventing Sinatra from controlling successfully. Sinatra stands up over Tamad, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Sinatra trying to control the position from guard on top but Tamad is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sinatra looking to pass the guard. Frank Sinatra is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tamad has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Sinatra looking to pass the guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Tamad scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Sinatra gets back to full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Sinatra looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tamad must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sinatra seems keen to control Tamad's posture. Tamad working some strikes from top position. Tamad is fighting to break Sinatra's control of his arms but Sinatra is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Tamad throws a strike but Sinatra rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Juan Tamad has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sinatra stays in close to Tamad's body and controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sinatra is looking to pass into half guard but Tamad pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Tamad is in guard. Sinatra has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Tamad working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Tamad scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Tamad landing some decent shots from guard. Tamad being controlled here momentarily.
And that's the end of the fight! Juan Tamad comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Sinatra has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
