Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jayson Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takuya Konichiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jayson Frank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takuya Konichiri!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frank clinches up against the cage.
Konichiri managing to block the knees to the body from Frank.
Konichiri jumps guard but Frank stands there with Konichiri around his waist. Konichiri gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Konichiri breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Frank takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Konichiri misses with a head kick.

Frank lands with a cross.
Konichiri throws a sloppy head kick and Frank moves out of range easily.
Frank really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Frank tries to close the distance and clinch but Konichiri swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Konichiri throws a half hearted mid kick.
Frank blocks a head kick by Konichiri.
Frank throws a body punch but Konichiri moves out of range.
Frank looks to clinch
and Konichiri counters with a nice low kick that buckles Frank's knee momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Frank tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Konichiri swivels and escapes.
Frank shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Konichiri napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Konichiri is looking to reverse the position.
Frank wants to stand but Konichiri has his arm trapped.
Frank creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Konichiri sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Frank lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Konichiri down.

Konichiri is trying to improve his position.

Konichiri takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Frank misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Frank stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Frank wants to clinch but Konichiri slips to the side
and Konichiri counters with a thumping low kick.
Frank tries to clinch up.
Konichiri avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Frank shoots in but Konichiri avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Konichiri throws a half hearted mid kick.
Konichiri throws a head kick but Frank moves out of range.
Frank tries to clinch up but Konichiri circles away and keeps his distance.
Takuya Konichiri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Konichiri tries to score with a low kick but Frank moves his leg out of the way.
Konichiri connects with a high kick.
Frank is rocked!
Konichiri throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Oh Frank is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Konichiri throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Konichiri connects with a leg kick. Frank looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Frank misses with a body punch
and Konichiri counters with a solid body kick.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Konichiri throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Frank is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
