Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Florentino Olsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Kinsiong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raymond Kinsiong looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Florentino Olsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Raymond Kinsiong!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olsen wants to clinch

and Kinsiong counters by clinching up.
Kinsiong looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Olsen pulls guard.
Olsen has control of Kinsiong's left arm, preventing Kinsiong from doing any damage.
Olsen tries to land a sweep but no joy.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Olsen is on top in guard.

Olsen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Olsen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kinsiong manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Olsen has Kinsiong in his guard.

Olsen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Olsen seems to be looking for submissions.

Olsen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Olsen is working for a kimura but Kinsiong is defending it quite comfortably.

Olsen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kinsiong doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Olsen.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Olsen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Olsen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Kinsiong fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kinsiong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Olsen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Raymond Kinsiong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kinsiong changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Olsen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kinsiong feints and as Olsen raises his hands in defense, Kinsiong changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Olsen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Olsen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kinsiong manages to get himself to full guard.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Olsen has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Olsen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kinsiong wants to stand up but Olsen is controlling him.

Olsen content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Olsen cracks Kinsiong with a solid left hand.
Olsen postures up in Kinsiong's guard and throws a big left but Kinsiong blocks it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Both fighters circling a little - Olsen finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Olsen darts in and clinches Kinsiong up against the cage.
Olsen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Kinsiong escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kinsiong looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kinsiong is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Florentino Olsen.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Olsen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
