Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Burt Conley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ease Fall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Burt Conley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ease Fall!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fall clinches up with Conley and pushes him back against the cage.
Conley tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fall's elbow.
Conley trying to control the position but instead, Fall has worked for underhooks and has pushed Conley into the cage.
Conley missing with knees to the body.
Conley is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Fall jumps guard but Conley stands there with Fall around his waist. Fall gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Conley is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Fall tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Conley just stands there and leans against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Fall pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Fall uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Conley has time to react.


It looks like Burt Conley has been cut.
Conley defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fall.

Conley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fall shoots in for a takedown but Conley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

A combination from Fall does no damage.
Conley tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fall swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Conley shoots for a takedown but Fall saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Fall moves into the clinch successfully.
Fall is stalling here.
Fall tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Conley just stands there and leans against the cage.

Fall tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Fall throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Fall blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Conley doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Fall tries to throw a body punch but Conley avoids it by throwing Fall back against the cage.
Fall jumps guard but Conley stands there with Fall around his waist. Fall gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Conley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Conley throws a sloppy head kick and Fall moves out of range easily.
Conley fails with a takedown attempt.

Fall clinches up against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Conley is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Conley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Burt Conley will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Fall looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Conley lands a right hook to the body.

Fall clinches.

Fall is trying to break the clinch but Conley is controlling him.
Conley tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fall's elbow.

Fall is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Conley to keep the fight standing.

and Conley makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fall is breathing heavily.
Fall tries to land a front kick but Conley steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Conley closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fall to the mat! Fall manages to get full guard.
Fall has a closed guard, preventing Conley from standing up.

Conley is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Conley is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fall can do to turn this around?
Conley has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Conley seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fall for as long as he can get away with.
Fall wants to sweep here but Conley controlling him for the moment.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Fall is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Conley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fall as he jumps to the side.
Ease Fall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fall stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fall wants it to stay on the feet.
Conley fails with a takedown attempt.
Fall shoots in for a takedown but Conley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fall forces Conley back against the cage and clinches.
Conley is looking to control Fall's arms but Fall gets an underhook and turns him. Now Conley has his back to the cage.
Fall prevents a body shot from Conley.
Fall lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Conley.

Conley looking to stall.
Fall tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Conley smiles and moves away.

Conley drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Conley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fall works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Conley is looking to stand up but Fall won't let him.
Conley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Fall is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Conley presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Conley keeps control of Fall as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Conley throws a sloppy head kick and Fall moves out of range easily.
Conley stuffs the takedown attempt from Fall. Fall gets slowly back to his feet.
Fall misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Conley.
Fall digs a good body shot into Conley's ribs.
Fall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Conley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fall misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fall throws a right hand that Conley ducks under and follows up with a left that Conley also avoids with ease.
Fall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Fall has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Conley after a bit of a struggle.

Conley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fall's half guard.
Conley is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Fall tries to roll over but Conley keeps him under control.

Conley seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Conley lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Burt Conley is winning the standup battle so far.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Fall enables Conley to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fall manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Fall wants to get back to his feet but Conley is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Fall is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Conley controls from within his opponent's guard.
Conley is standing up over Fall. Fall looks to escape but Conley dives into side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fall trying his best to control but Conley has mounted him.
Conley controlling the pace for now.
Conley's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Conley won't let Fall get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Fall is working to get back to half guard.
Ease Fall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Burt Conley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Conley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
