Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between joesph peery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naoki Yoshikuni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that joesph peery has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily joesph peery seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, joesph peery! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Naoki Yoshikuni! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yoshikuni clinches. peery lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Yoshikuni is looking to improve his position.
peery tries to stand but can't do so whilst Yoshikuni controls his leg. peery is thwarting Yoshikuni's attempts to control the position. Yoshikuni looking for submissions off his back. peery wants to free his trapped foot but Yoshikuni is holding on for dear life with his legs. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's one minute gone in the round. peery is thwarting Yoshikuni's attempts to control the position. peery prevents Yoshikuni from improving his position. peery knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yoshikuni on the ground. peery wants to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. peery tries to keep at a distance but Yoshikuni has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yoshikuni prevents the takedown attempt.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for joesph peery. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. peery is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Yoshikuni drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that joesph peery will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Yoshikuni swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Yoshikuni keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Naoki Yoshikuni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yoshikuni closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Yoshikuni seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but peery does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. peery won't allow Yoshikuni to pass to mount. Yoshikuni is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! peery taking shots to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yoshikuni looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Yoshikuni can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as peery is looking to escape. Yoshikuni lands a big elbow. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Yoshikuni goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now peery is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yoshikuni manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. peery manages to get himself to full guard.
peery is looking to stand up but Yoshikuni isn't so interested in that idea. Yoshikuni slips nicely into half guard. Yoshikuni moves nicely into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Naoki Yoshikuni showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Yoshikuni changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Yoshikuni thows a body shot but no joy. Yoshikuni thows a left - swing and a miss! Yoshikuni throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Yoshikuni tries to clinch there but peery circles away.
joesph peery is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Yoshikuni closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Yoshikuni tries to advance position but instead peery slips a leg back in to half guard. Yoshikuni is trying for a kimura here. peery looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Yoshikuni wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Naoki Yoshikuni!
