Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Rude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Torrelio Sacana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rude comes to the cage accompanied by Gunslinger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sacana fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sacana gets caught napping as Rude dives in and scores a takedown. Sacana manages to retain guard.

Rude gets to his feet. Sacana looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Sacana fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rude to the ground. Sacana is now in Rude's guard.

Sacana has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rude is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sacana.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Rude leaves Sacana with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rude looks to land a left hand but Sacana moved out of range nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rude bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sacana's head.
