Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Duddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tired and clearly flustered, he entered the arena late and after a little discussion it was decided that the bout should take place. Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Jordan and John Duddy. Jordan comes to the cage accompanied by Vamos. Duddy is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dropkick Murphys - 'Loyal to No One'. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamal Jordan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
31 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Duddy! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jordan tries a head kick but it misses.
Duddy misses with a few strikes there.
Jordan checks a leg kick. Some wild striking there from Duddy.
John Duddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duddy misses with a series of wild punches.
Jordan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Jordan can't find room to land a body shot as Duddy controls the action.
Duddy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Duddy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jordan pulls his leg out and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fight stays on the outside here - Jordan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jordan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Duddy - the referee stops the clock and Jordan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Duddy. Jordan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jordan throws a low kick, looking for Duddy's leg but Duddy calmly moves out of range. Jordan throws a sloppy head kick and Duddy moves out of range easily. Duddy works the jab nicely. Duddy loads up on a big right hand but Jordan slips the punch. Jordan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Duddy lands a nice looking body kick. Duddy takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Duddy feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jordan's calf. Duddy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jordan tries a head kick but it misses.
Jordan wants to clinch. Jordan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Duddy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Jamal Jordan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Duddy catches Jordan with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Jordan forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). John Duddy! John Duddy opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
