Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juntti Allu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gottlieb Hiebknecht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gottlieb Hiebknecht has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Juntti Allu's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Juntti Allu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gottlieb Hiebknecht!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiebknecht swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Allu throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hiebknecht dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hiebknecht uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Allu.
Hiebknecht misses with a looping left.
Hiebknecht ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Allu moves away.
Allu throws an off balance right hand

and Hiebknecht counters with a nice double leg into side control. Allu won't be happy with that.
Hiebknecht wants to control but Allu is keeping him busy.

Allu is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Allu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Allu tries to get out of the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hiebknecht throws a lazy right hand but Allu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Allu closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Allu is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Allu lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Hiebknecht tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Allu tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hiebknecht's elbow.

Allu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hiebknecht slips a jab and a cross from Allu.

Allu throws a half hearted mid kick.
Allu throws a lazy right hand but Hiebknecht sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hiebknecht checks the leg kick nicely there.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hiebknecht. Allu does a little dance to reset his feet.
Allu walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hiebknecht checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Hiebknecht slips a straight right by Allu.
Juntti Allu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hiebknecht swinging wildly here.
Allu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hiebknecht.
Allu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hiebknecht.
The fighters circling - Allu throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Allu tries to clinch up.
Hiebknecht ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Allu moves away.
Allu just misses with a punch to the body.
Allu rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Hiebknecht counters with a shoot takedown. Allu fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hiebknecht tries to free his leg and advance position but Allu is retaining full guard.

Hiebknecht drops back looking for a leg! Allu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Allu manages to kick Hiebknecht off! Hiebknecht jumps back into Allu's guard.

Hiebknecht pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Allu is keeping the position for now.
Hiebknecht wants to control from the top but Allu keeps moving.

Hiebknecht uses his free foot to push down on Allu's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Allu.
