Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Laguera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tataki Mizuto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laguera comes to the cage accompanied by Rev Theory - Hell Yeah. Mizuto is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Beginning- One Ok Rock. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alexei Laguera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tataki Mizuto! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Laguera lands a body shot.
Mizuto is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Laguera swings for the body but Mizuto moves out of range.
Laguera throws a sloppy head kick and Mizuto moves out of range easily. Laguera pushes Mizuto up against the cage in a clinch. Mizuto prevents Laguera from breaking the clinch. Laguera manages to break the clinch.
Mizuto fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Laguera to the ground. Mizuto is now in Laguera's guard. Mizuto throws a big elbow that misses. Laguera knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mizuto on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Laguera utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Mizuto wants to pass the guard but Laguera is keeping the position. Mizuto scoring with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mizuto stands up over Laguera, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Laguera keeping moving, preventing Mizuto from controlling successfully. Laguera is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Mizuto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mizuto wants to control from the top but Laguera keeps moving. Mizuto chips away with some ground and pound. Mizuto is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mizuto scores with a decent looking elbow strike. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mizuto accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mizuto is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Mizuto advances to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mizuto is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Mizuto putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Mizuto wants to control but instead Laguera manages to regain half guard. Mizuto wants to lay and pray for a moment but Laguera keeps working. Mizuto is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Laguera sees it coming and defends easily. Mizuto is controlling the pace.
Mizuto seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mizuto has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Laguera defend it? Mizuto steps over the head and cranks it - Laguera is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Mizuto!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tataki Mizuto! Tataki Mizuto decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere.
