Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroyuki Okamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle comes to the cage accompanied by Big Booty Woman. Okamoto has chosen Feel the Drive as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Kyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroyuki Okamoto!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle throws a nice head kick!
Okamoto connects with a body shot that sends Kyle's belly button to the back.
Kyle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Okamoto.
Okamoto thows a leg kick but Kyle checks it
and Kyle counters with a nice leg kick.
Okamoto scores with a leg kick.
Kyle definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kyle works over Okamoto's head and body with a nice combination.
Okamoto pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kyle is out of range and Okamoto settles back down.
Okamoto paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

and Kyle connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kyle checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kyle ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Okamoto lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kyle has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kyle and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Okamoto is looking to slow Kyle down with leg kicks.

Hiroyuki Okamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Kyle counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Okamoto is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Kyle fakes the leg kick and cracks Okamoto in the body.
Kyle misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Kyle counters with a left and a right that stings Okamoto.
Kyle throws a head kick but Okamoto moves out of range.

and Kyle counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Okamoto throws a solid leg kick but Kyle takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Okamoto.

Kyle is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Okamoto throws a low kick but Kyle avoids it.
Okamoto lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kyle circles away quickly and effectively.
Okamoto takes a swing at Kyle's ribcage but misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

and Kyle counters with a big head kick but Okamoto shrugs it off.
Okamoto swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Okamoto throws a body shot but no joy.
Okamoto takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A punch lands to the side of Okamoto 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Okamoto is looking to land body kicks.
Kyle lands a head kick. Okamoto smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Kyle is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Okamoto throws a body kick that misses.
Okamoto is still on wobbly legs! Can Kyle finish him?
Okamoto throws a leg kick
and Kyle counters with a crisp right that sends Okamoto to the canvas! Kyle follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Kyle!
David Kyle very nearly forgot to thank KAISER amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
