The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mackey dives in and grabs Malenko's left leg, looking for a takedown. Malenko pushes down on Mackey's head and hops out.
Malenko throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Malenko shoots in for a takedown but Mackey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Mackey shoots in looking for a takedown but Malenko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mackey's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
