The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wisnoa misses with a combination
and Noble counters with a one-two to the body.
Wisnoa lands with a right hand.
It looks like Barney Noble has been cut.
Wisnoa closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Noble's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wisnoa doesn't manage to clinch there - Noble circles away.
A low kick from Noble misses
and Wisnoa counters with a shoot takedown. Noble fights it but they end up in guard.
Noble will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Noble is trying to control the position but Wisnoa postures up.
Wisnoa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Noble swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wisnoa seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Wisnoa. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Wisnoa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wisnoa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wisnoa working over Noble with some ground and pound. Noble looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Wisnoa wants to work for an arm triangle but Noble is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
