The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Smith tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
Gracie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Smith is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gracie pulls his head out easily.

Gracie has control of Smith's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Smith regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Smith could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
